There is something for everyone during Disney+'s lull, and Andor's revitalization of Star Wars creates some worthwhile experiences with video games being the perfect complement.

1. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Andor is an impressive Star Wars game that delivers a compelling Rebellion-era story without concerning itself with the Skywalkers, Jedi, Sith, or the Force.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sees Cal, a Jedi Padawan in hiding, get roped into a game of cat and mouse against the Empire.

2. Star Wars Battlefront II

Star Wars Battlefront II was launched with controversies, but admirably dedicated post-launch support turned it into a genuinely solid game.

Battlefront II is now packed with substantive single-player and multiplayer content, as well as several character classes.

Andor has a chance to revitalize Star Wars

Andor made a good first impression by introducing innovative new aspects in a Star Wars production with its three-episode premiere on Disney. This 12-episode season is grounded, grittier, and sets the stage for tantalizing character drama. There is political intrigue throughout the season.

Although Andor appears to be off to a strong start, it's challenging to get past the idea that it's a prequel within a prequel. A New Hope and the pre-Revenge of the Sith era of Star Wars canon are Lucasfilm's obsessions. However, despite being another prequel to the Original Trilogy, the show has succeeded in establishing its relevance in a crowded market.

Andor's story has a nice dose of political intrigue and drama. The characters, the atmosphere, and the blending of genres make an otherwise familiar timeline exciting. As the Empire's puppets squish insurgents, political drama, and a spy perpetually on the run add to the tension, the stakes feel real.

There has been a great deal of talk about how much fans have grown weary of origin stories, but Cassian's early years sprinkled into the main story have helped the show's pacing. Now it's all about consistency across the show's eventual two seasons and 24 episodes.
