Apple: Rumors point to two new iPads and AR glasses
Apple is working on virtual and augmented reality projects.
Apple always keeps us on the lookout for its new products, which is why these rumors interest us all so much. It seems that Apple has a couple of surprises in store in the form of new iPads with larger screens. And yes, this also includes the iPad mini.
Good things are on the way
Like everything good in the industry, the following information comes from leaks and rumors that have been published on MacRumors, which involve a note for investors.
As part of the strategy that this company has planned for the year 2022, it seems that Apple is preparing to launch a new iPad and an iPad mini but with larger screens.
The iPad screen would measure around 10.8 inches and we could see it on the market in the second half of this year.
For its part, the new iPad mini would have a screen with dimensions between 8.5 and 9 inches. We may see it reach the market during the first half of the year 2021.
It is not yet known how these products could fit into what Apple is already selling, but it seems that we will have to wait to see if they will replace the old iPads or if they will come as new models that are sold together.
But if you thought that Apple would stay with these two things (or that the rumors were only about this) then we have one more surprise, because apparently we could be looking at Augmented Reality glasses and an Augmented Reality headset. These would hit the market in 2022 (for the headset) and, although the release date is not exactly known, the lenses could arrive in 2023.
Without a doubt this could change the way we see the technology company and, if all this is true, we would be facing a very interesting future from Apple itself.
